About the event

Located on the Usual and Accustomed lands of the Snoqualmie Tribe the “South Paw” timber sale threatens the Tiger Mountain legacy forest. This forest, located near the start of the Tiger Mountain Trail, is one of the most accessible legacy forests on Tiger Mountain and is home to massive Douglas fir and Western redcedar. The timber sale was originally scheduled for auction in 2023 but was delayed.

Please join us on June 23th to visit the sale and raise awareness for our Legacy Forests.

Where: We'll meet at the Tiger Mountain Trailhead in Mirrormont

When: 10am-1:00pm June 23th, 2024

What: The hike will be approximately 1 mile mostly of trail.

Please bring water, snacks, shoes to hike in and the appropriate layers in case of rain.

Want to carpool? Send an email to kyle@wlfdc.org with your general area, and we'll do our best to put you in touch with others interested in carpooling.
