About the event
Located on the Usual and Accustomed lands of the Chehalis Tribe, the “Jackie Paper” timber sale threatens the Gaddis Creek Legacy Forest. This forest, which is near a known occupied Marbled Murrelet nest site, is one of the oldest forests remaining in the Lower Chehalis State Forest, and is home to massive Douglas firs and western redcedars. The timber sale is scheduled for auction in November 2024.
