About the event

Located on the Usual and Accustomed lands of the Snoqualmie Tribe, the “South Paw” timber sale threatens the Tiger Mountain legacy forest. This forest, located near the start of the Tiger Mountain Trail, is one of the most accessible legacy forests on Tiger Mountain and is home to massive Douglas fir and Western redcedar. The timber sale was originally scheduled for auction in 2023 but has been delayed.

Please join us on Feb 25th to visit the sale and raise awareness for our Legacy Forests.

Where: We'll meet at the Tiger Mountain Trailhead in Mirrormont. NOTE: This trailhead is in the SOUTHERN end of Tiger Mountain State Forest (https://maps.app.goo.gl/WtXGovDrnRNsc2jy8)

When: 2:00pm-5:00pm Feb 25, 2025

What: The hike will be approximately 2 miles mostly on trail.

Please bring water, snacks, shoes to hike in and the appropriate layers in case of rain.  Interested in carpooling? You can request or offer a ride…
